Congratulations to the top dogs of PETWALK 2009 ...
Top Pack: Cat Care Clinic / Gentle Vet Team with $2,045 raised!
|
Honorable mentions to The Rider Family pack with $1,971, and the PCMC pack with $1,035.
The weather was perfect and the turn-out ... unbelievable!
PetWalk is important to to us for many reasons. Of course we love the chance to have fun with all of our fellow animal-lovers and their pets, especially "BAHS alumni"! We work hard to keep the event expenses low so that most of the money raised can go to care for the 6,000 lost, abandoned and even neglected pets we know we'll see again this year.

Call
for Volunteers |
It's that time again ... COTTONWOOD SEASON! Yep, and our shelter is surrounded by cottonwood trees. It doesn't last long but while it does ... it sure makes a mess!
We're hoping there are a few volunteers out there who are available weekday mornings who might be able to lend us a hand keeping up with the extra cleaning. The "cotton" gets tracked in and it just means extra sweeping, vaccuming, etc. to keep the lobby looking nice.
Can you help? If so please stop in anytime after 8:00 a.m. weekdays and tell a staff person you are here to help. Thanks!

- Lots and lots of BLEACH!
- hand sanitizer
Please, we're NOT accepting old televisions or computer equipment. If you have something that is current technology that you believe really may be useful, please call us first. Thanks!
Of course monetary donations help us pay for the vaccinations, anti-parasite and spay/neuter that all pets receive before being adopted at BAHS, and much more ... but here's a list of other items that sure do make a difference if you are able to donate! Thanks very much
