Our staff is focused on changes to the program that will make volunteering as rewarding, effective and flexible as possible.
Volunteers who are already registered and have completed orientation and training are still welcome to continue, but new volunteers are only being accepted at this time for the following roles:

There are many important volunteers needed in the planning and organizing of fundraising events like Pet Walk, Bark of the Bay, and Brewfest. If you like to be creative, research pricing, ask area businesses for in-kind donations, or if you have experience in promotional planning or any aspect of fundraising, please give us a call!
Each event also depends on many volunteers helping the day of the event with set-up & take-down, registration, monitor auction tables, and much more.

At this time, we are not able to accomodate school mandated service hours. We absolutely appreciate the enthusiasm our young animal-lovers have for helping pets in need, but please understand we do not have the resources to oversee the training and coordination necessary to keep volunteer students and shelter pets happy and safe.
We do not offer volunteer opportunities for court-ordered community service.
